How It Works
When you connect your Google Calendar to Voilà, your schedule becomes the single source of truth for your tutoring sessions. You continue creating and managing events in Google Calendar as you normally would.
Voilà monitors your calendar and automatically creates a meeting for any event that includes one of your students as a guest. There's nothing extra to set up — just schedule as usual.
Connect Your Google Calendar
Go to Settings in Voilà and click "Connect Google Calendar." You'll be asked to authorize Voilà to read your calendar events. This is a one-time setup.
Voilà only reads event details (title, time, and guests). It does not modify or delete any events in your calendar.
Create an Event with Your Student
In Google Calendar, create a new event for your tutoring session. Add your student's email address as a guest to the event. That's all you need to do — Voilà will detect the event automatically.
Voilà Creates the Meeting
Once Voilà detects a calendar event between you and one of your students, it automatically creates a corresponding Voilà meeting. The Voilà bot will join the session to assist with note-taking and language learning support.
Meetings are created automatically — no need to manually set them up in Voilà.

Do I need to create meetings in Voilà separately?
No. When you connect Google Calendar, Voilà automatically creates meetings based on your calendar events. Just schedule in Google Calendar and add your student as a guest.
What if I update or cancel an event?
Voilà syncs with your Google Calendar. If you change the time or cancel an event, the corresponding Voilà meeting will be updated accordingly.
Can I use this with multiple students?
Yes. Create separate calendar events for each student and add them as guests. Voilà will create individual meetings for each event that includes one of your students.
Does Voilà modify my Google Calendar events?
No. Voilà only reads your calendar events to create meetings. It never modifies, deletes, or adds events to your Google Calendar.
