Eligibility
We're looking for engaged tutors ready to teach a great short class.
- An active Voilà tutor — or on a free trial (both are welcome).
- Genuine tutoring experience (we'll review your background).
- Ideally some students you're already teaching.
- A complete tutor profile in the Voilà marketplace (photo, bio, subjects).
- Stripe Connect enabled, so you can be paid directly.
- A short-duration class idea (roughly 1–8 focused sessions).
We don't require full-time tutors — we're here to help tutors grow their business. What matters most is real teaching experience, so brand-new tutors may not be the right fit yet. If you just need to finish your profile or connect Stripe, apply anyway and we'll help.
Frequently asked questions
How much does it cost me?
Nothing upfront. Voilà pays for the advertising. When students enroll, we keep a flat 15% of the class price — and that 15% goes straight back into marketing your class. You keep the other 85%.
Who runs the ads?
We do. Voilà's marketing team designs, funds and manages the Meta (Facebook and Instagram) and Google ad campaigns for your class.
Do I need my own audience or following?
No. The whole point of this program is that we bring you brand-new students you wouldn't reach on your own.
How do I get paid?
Students pay through your connected Stripe account and you're the merchant of record. Payouts arrive net of our 15%, and refunds are automated by Voilà.
What counts as a short class?
A focused series of roughly 1–8 live sessions built around a specific, marketable outcome — like the examples above.
Who is eligible?
Active Voilà tutors and tutors on a free trial, with a complete marketplace profile and Stripe enabled. We also look for genuine tutoring experience — ideally with some students you're already teaching.
Do I need to teach full-time to qualify?
No. We don't require full-time tutors — we love supporting tutors who are growing their business. What matters most is genuine teaching experience; having students you already teach helps, but we'll happily evaluate experienced tutors case by case. Brand-new tutors with no experience may not be the right fit yet.
I'm coming from Preply, iTalki or another platform — can you help me set up?
Yes. If you're switching from Preply, iTalki, Verbling or anywhere else, our team will help you get set up: we'll rebuild your profile, connect Stripe, and bring your existing students across so you can pick up where you left off.
