Settings & Integrations

Settings is the central hub for account configuration, integrations, and preferences. Both tutors and students access it from the sidebar.

Account Settings

Setting	Description
Personal Info	Name, email, and account details.
Voice Sample	Record a voice sample to improve transcription accuracy.
Display Language	The language used in the platform interface.
Notifications	Global notification preferences — control what you receive and how.

Configure recording preferences and view billing under Settings → Subscription:

Default recording method — Bot (audio + video), Extension (audio only), or In-Platform
This setting applies to all new lessons and can be overridden per-lesson
View current usage and estimated charges

Edit your marketplace profile, per-language settings, and AI Matchmaker interview from Settings → Tutor Profile. See Profile & Marketplace.

Find your personal referral code and track referral status in Settings → Referral. See Referral Programme.

Pause incoming booking requests and new-student messages. Go to Settings → Integrations → Vacation Mode to enable or disable. See Scheduling.

Update hobbies, profession, interests, and learning goals to improve AI personalization. See Student Settings.

Both tutors and students can configure notifications:

In-app — notifications appear in the notification center on voila.fun
Email — sent to your registered email for key events (new messages, lesson confirmations, summaries)

Toggle individual notification types on or off in Settings → Notifications. See Notifications.
