Settings

Settings is the central hub for account configuration, integrations, and preferences. Both tutors and students access it from the header.

Account Settings​

Personal info​

SettingDescription
Basic InfoName, email, and account details.
Voice SampleRecord a voice sample to improve transcription accuracy.
Display LanguageThe language used in the platform interface.
CurrencyCurrency used for billing and payments on the platform.

Tutor Profile​

Edit your marketplace profile, per-language settings, and AI Matchmaker interview from Settings → Tutor Profile. See Tutor Profile & Marketplace.

Payments​

Management of pricing, payouts, and payment collection.

Notification Preferences​

Control which notifications you receive:

  • In-app — notifications appear in the notification centre on voila.fun
  • Email — sent to your registered email for key events (new messages, lesson confirmations, summaries)

Toggle individual notification types on or off in Settings → Notifications. See Notifications.

Subscription​

Configure recording preferences and view billing under Settings → Subscription:

  • Default recording method — Bot (audio + video), Extension (audio only), or In-Platform
  • This setting applies to all new lessons and can be overridden per-lesson.

Integrations​

  • Connect with other tools and services like Stripe, Google Calendar, and Microsoft Teams.

  • Add the Voilà extension to Brave, Chrome, or Firefox.

Referral Programme​

Find your personal referral code and track referral status in Settings → Referral. See Referral Programme.

Account security​

Update your password or delete your account.

Vacation Mode​

Pause incoming booking requests and new-student messages. Go to Settings → Integrations → Vacation Mode to enable or disable. Students will receive an auto-reply if they message you via chat. Students will not be able to book individual or recurring lessons during your vacation window. However, students will be able to book lessons outside your vacation window. Tutors can initiate lessons during vacations if the lesson is proposed by the tutor (i.e. they know their availability during their vacation).
