Voilà App for Students

The Voilà app is the Voilà Learning Partner on your phone. You chat, do short practice, rehearse role-plays, and — when a spoken call is offered — talk. It knows what you're working on with your real tutor and keeps pointing you back to them.

The Android app is on Google Play. The iOS app is coming in November 2026.

Practice invites from your tutor can offer the app alongside WhatsApp and Telegram. Sign in with the email on the invite.

One place at a time​

You practise in one place at a time: WhatsApp, Telegram, or the Voilà app. Connecting one disconnects the others. Nothing is lost in the switch — your streak, your history and your settings come with you.

Your account shows which channel is connected. To move practice, send Voilà a message in the chat you want and tap Switch.

What it costs, and when included practice pauses, is the same as on WhatsApp and Telegram. Included practice covers the languages you're actually taking lessons in.

What you can do​

Send text or voice notes in the language you study. The Learning Partner replies in text, voice, or both. Practice is pitched at your level and weaves in vocabulary, grammar, and recurring mistakes from your real lessons.

Add to chat​

Add to chat opens a list of short activities you can start on demand — the same Smart Habits you can schedule, offered at your level.

Role-play cards​

Scenario cards show lines you might say and lines you might hear. Tap a line to hear it, and tap a word to look it up.

Practice calls​

Spoken practice calls run in the app as well as on WhatsApp. They use the same role-play library. Telegram does not place calls; voice notes cover that ground there.

Debate​

From B1, Debate is on unless you turn it off in Account. It stays off in kid mode.

A radio debate is a back-and-forth in voice notes, on WhatsApp, Telegram, or the app. A live debate is a spoken call in the app, offered only when that mode is available for your language. You get a short prep and a summary afterwards.

Your files​

Chat voice notes, photos, cards, and documents are kept for 90 days, on the app and on WhatsApp and Telegram.

Paying​

The Play Store build does not sell a subscription inside the app. If you need Premium AI Insights, the offer arrives by email, and the website shows a Get AI Insights card on your dashboard. voila.fun/ai-insights opens the same subscription screen. The price is $19.99 USD/month, plus applicable tax (added at checkout where required), after a 7-day free trial — unless your lessons already include it.
