In-Session Tools

When you are in an active lesson, the platform provides a set of tools accessible via the browser extension or the bot.

Recording Methods

You can choose your recording method globally in Settings → Subscription, or change it per-lesson when creating or entering a session.

MethodRecordsBest for
BotAudio + VideoSessions where you want a full video recording
Browser Extension (Google Meet)Audio onlySessions where audio transcription is sufficient

The default recording method set in your subscription settings applies automatically to every lesson. You can override it when creating an individual lesson.

In-Session Interface

Chat

A real-time chat with your student. Chat history is stored and accessible after the session ends.

Private Notes

Your personal notepad. Anything you write here is visible only to you and is saved automatically after the session. Notes persist across sessions with the same student.

Screen

The Screen panel is for structured content:

  • Upload PDFs
  • Insert saved lesson plans
  • Display Teaching Assistant exercises (vocabulary exercises show questions only, not answers)
  • View audio lessons and transcriptions before playing

Board

The Board is a free-form collaborative canvas:

  • Both you and your student can write and draw simultaneously
  • Real-time collaboration — you can see each other's edits live
  • Use for brainstorming, diagramming grammar structures, writing practice, etc.

Teaching Assistant During a Session

You can generate new exercises directly during a session without leaving the interface. This is useful when a student needs a targeted exercise on the spot.

  1. Open the Teaching Assistant panel during the session.
  2. Select mode, level, mechanism, and exercise type.
  3. Generate and insert the exercise into the Screen.

Generated exercises can be saved to your folders for reuse in future lessons.

AI Assistant

During a session, you have access to an AI chat for quick queries. Use it to:

  • Translate words or phrases
  • Look up grammar rules
  • Generate example sentences

The AI chat history from a session is stored and accessible when you review that lesson later.
