Access Settings from the header to manage your account, preferences, and integrations.

Account Settings​

Personal Info​

SettingDescription

Set your target language, native language, and pronunciation level

Notification Preferences​

Control which notifications you receive:

  • In-app notifications — appear in the notification center on voila.fun
  • Email notifications — sent to your registered email for events like new messages, lesson confirmations, and AI summaries

Configure per-type preferences in Settings → Notifications.

Integrations​

Google CalendarSettings → Integrations → Connect Google Calendar. Lessons sync to your calendar.
Microsoft OutlookSettings → Integrations → Connect Outlook Calendar. Lessons sync to your calendar.

Calendar integration adds your lessons to your external calendar and shows you synced availability.

Subscription​

Students can subscribe to Premium AI Insights — an add-on that unlocks an AI chat powered by Gemini, giving you access to your full lesson history, personalized vocabulary analysis, grammar patterns, 24/7 practice prompts based on your real lessons, and chat practice on Telegram or WhatsApp.

  • Included with your tutor: if you have an active tutor on Voilà (they are paying or on a tutor trial) and a lesson within seven days either side of today, AI Insights is included. It pauses if you leave that tutor, or if a week passes with no lesson behind you and none booked — booking your next lesson turns it straight back on, and nothing is lost in between.
  • Referral code: redeem any AI Insights code (tutor invite, staff, or promo) from Settings → Subscription or the chat checkout page. That grant is portable and independent of the tutor.
  • Free trial: 7 days free when you first activate it.
  • After the trial: $19.99/month (plus applicable tax, calculated at checkout via FastSpring).
  • Manage or cancel at any time from Settings → Subscription.
