Student Settings

Access Settings from the sidebar or header to manage your account, preferences, and integrations.

Account Settings

Setting	Description
Personal Info	Name, email, and account details.
Voice Sample	Record a voice sample to improve transcription accuracy for your lessons.
Display Language	The language used in the platform interface.
Notifications	Global notification preferences — choose which notifications you receive and how (in-app, email).

Your student profile includes information that helps tutors and AI tools personalize your experience:

Hobbies and interests — used to personalize conversation topics, exercises, and AI content
Profession — context for business-oriented lesson planning
Learning goals — what you want to achieve (conversational fluency, exam prep, etc.)

Update these from Settings → Profile to get more relevant AI-generated content.

Integration	How to connect
Google Calendar	Settings → Integrations → Connect Google Calendar. Lessons sync to your calendar.
Microsoft Outlook	Settings → Integrations → Connect Outlook Calendar. Lessons sync to your calendar.

Calendar integration adds your lessons to your external calendar and shows you synced availability.

Control which notifications you receive:

In-app notifications — appear in the notification center on voila.fun
Email notifications — sent to your registered email for events like new messages, lesson confirmations, and AI summaries

Configure per-type preferences in Settings → Notifications.
