Referral Programme
Voila's referral programme lets tutors invite other tutors to the platform and earn free months of service. Every tutor gets a unique referral code to share.
How It Works
- Share your personal referral code or link with another tutor.
- They sign up using your code.
- You receive an instant reward of 10 free Bot/Extension meetings.
- If the referred tutor becomes a qualified, paying user, you earn one free month of Bot and Extension charges.
The referred tutor receives a 14-day trial extension (44 days total instead of 30).
Finding and Sharing Your Code
- Go to Settings → Referral to view your personal referral code and shareable link.
- Your link includes your code automatically (e.g.
?ref=VOILA-A3K7X2). - The Referral Programme widget on your Dashboard also shows your stats and code.

Instant Reward
When someone signs up with your code, you immediately receive 10 free Bot/Extension meetings. No waiting, no qualification required.
Free Months
Each qualified referral earns one free month of Bot and Extension charges. Milestone bonuses apply at higher tiers:

Annual Cap
You can earn up to 12 free months per rolling 12-month period.
What Is Covered
Free months and instant meeting credits apply to Bot and Extension plans only. Voila (In-Platform) meetings are always billed normally.
Qualification Criteria
A referred tutor counts as "qualified" when all of the following are true:
- Completed 20 or more sessions in the last 30 days, each at least 20 minutes long.
- Is a post-trial, paying customer with an active Stripe subscription.
- Is the meeting host (creator) for those sessions.
There is no minimum student count.
Qualification Window
Referred tutors have 90 days from signup to meet the criteria. If they do not qualify within that window, the referral expires.
Ongoing Verification
Qualification is verified daily. If a qualified referral's activity drops below the threshold, their status changes to unqualified and the corresponding free month is removed. If they re-qualify, the free month is restored.
Frequently Asked Questions
Where can I see my referral status? Go to Settings → Referral or check the Referral Programme widget on your Dashboard. View each referral's status, qualification progress, and total earned credits.
What happens if my referral stops teaching? Their status drops to unqualified. Your earned free months are recalculated daily based on currently qualified referrals.
Can I refer myself? No. Self-referrals are blocked.
Is there a limit to how many tutors I can refer? You can have up to 50 pending referrals at a time.
Can I use a referral code and a promo code at the same time? Yes. The referral programme is independent from admin promo codes. Both can be active simultaneously.
