PayPal Earnings & Payouts

PayPal lesson payments are not live yet. See Stripe Earnings for the dashboard that is live today.

Track your lesson income, view transaction history, and manage payouts through the Admin page on voila.fun and your PayPal Dashboard.

Earnings Dashboard​

Go to Admin to see your earnings overview:

  • Gross earnings — total amount paid by students
  • PayPal fees — processing fees deducted by PayPal
  • Net income — amount that reaches your PayPal balance
  • Upcoming lessons — confirmed bookings with expected revenue

Voilà takes zero commission on 1:1 lesson payments. Group seats include a 15% platform fee. The remaining deductions are standard PayPal processing fees.

Transaction History​

The Admin page lists every transaction individually:

  • Date and time
  • Student name
  • Amount charged
  • PayPal fees
  • Net amount
  • Transaction type (booking, package purchase, recurring payment)
  • Status (completed, refunded, pending)

Filter transactions by date range, student, or type.

Open Disputes​

If a student opens a payment dispute, respond in your PayPal Dashboard. Voilà emails you when it is aware of a dispute. See Disputes & Chargebacks.

External Payments​

If you receive payments outside of PayPal (bank transfer, cash, etc.), you can log them as external payments in Admin. This helps you track total earnings across all payment methods in one place.

Booking Requests​

Admin also shows pending booking requests that require your action:

  • View the student, requested time, and amount.
  • Confirm — schedules the lesson; the student is charged at the capture window.
  • Decline — the student is not charged.

Payouts​

Payouts are handled entirely by PayPal:

  • Funds go to the PayPal Business account you connected during setup.
  • Payout frequency depends on your country and PayPal account settings.
  • View payout history and settings in your PayPal Dashboard (Settings → Payments → Open PayPal Dashboard).
